FLINT, MI – A new report released by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on Wednesday, Sept. 4, claims to provide a blueprint for revitalizing and redeveloping communities like Flint that have been affected by the restricting of the U.S. auto industry.
Jay Williams, the executive director of the Department of Labor’s Office of Recovery for Automotive Communities and Workers, announced the “Roadmap for Auto Community Revitalization” during a Flint roundtable discussion with state and national politicians and business leaders outlining the push toward a focus on manufacturing jobs for state.
