COORDINATOR

This position reports directly to the Operations Director. Responsible for the scheduling and coordination of projects, allocation of all personnel and equipment, tracking of project through completion, and assembly of all project documentation for delivery to accounts receivable department.

Position Responsibilities

  • Evaluation and assessment of project requirements as received by customers, account managers, bid and proposal department, project managers, or other personnel presenting projects for scheduling
  • Scheduling and coordination of projects through completion
  • Allocation of resources (personnel and equipment)
  • Project tracking
  • Resource tracking
  • Project number assignment
  • Assembly of all project documentation for delivery to accounts receivable department
  • Act as liaison with Cintas rep. and reconcile all invoice/inventory changes
  • Advise Operations Director of appropriate disciplinary action when deemed necessary
  • Interaction with all levels of management, personnel, and customers
  • Support contact for customers and others calling Coordinator desk
  • Maintain constant communication with day shift Coordinator and Operations Director
  • Must be able to handle calls in-office on multi-line switchboard during designated shift hours
  • This is an on-site position only (remote work not allowed)
  • Maintain good housekeeping within Dispatch office
  • Other duties (temporary or permanent) as assigned by management

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in dispatching
  • Must demonstrate ability to assess limited scope and project information and assign resources needed for project execution
  • Valid Operator License
  • Good driving record (3 points or less)
  • Reliable transportation
  • 24-hour contact number
  • Capability to effectively handle stressful situations as they arise
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high stress environment
  • Ability to handle a high volume of calls on a multi-line switchboard
  • This position is an in-office position only; we cannot accommodate remote work
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects
  • Excellent multi-tasking, organizational, and teamwork skills
  • Positive and professional at all times
  • Must demonstrate a pro-active approach to all tasks
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working for an emergency response company
  • Prior experience working in the field of environmental remediation and/or industrial maintenance
  • Valid Chauffeur License

Special Position Requirements

  • Expected to work additional hours as needed, Monday through Friday or anytime on Saturday and Sunday

Work Requirements

Work primarily in office environment, spending long periods of time utilizing a computer. May be occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel and lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
