FIELD SUPERVISOR

Position Responsibilities

  • Act as point-of-contact between Operations office staff and field personnel
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of health and safety, work plans and
    supervision of field personnel
  • Interface with customer on job sites during and at completion of job
  • Assist Director of Operations Manager as needed to cover in their absence
  • Carry out tasks involving manual labor
  • Travel as necessary (extensive and project-driven)

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • 7+ years of field experience
  • Prior supervisory experience
  • Valid Chauffeur License
  • Good driving record
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (written/oral) skills
  • Excellent multi-tasking, organizational, and teamwork skills
  • Positive and professional at all times
  • Must demonstrate a proactive approach to all tasks

Work Requirements

Work primarily out in the field. Must be physically and mentally able to maintain work in
demanding conditions (rough weather, bad seas, remote locations, etc.). May be required to
work around chemicals and other toxic substances. Ability to reach with hands and arms,
balance stoop, kneel and lift and/or move up to 100+ pounds. Noise levels in the work
environment is moderate to high. Compliant regarding PPE policies.

HOURLY - AFTER 90 DAYS SALARIED - UPON HIRE
•72 hours of sick time in accordance with the Michigan Earned Sick Time Law – this balance renews every January 1 and does not roll over

•Holiday Pay (MPC observes 8 holidays/year)

•Bereavement Pay – 1 or 3 days depending on relation
•40 hours of personal time off – this balance renews every January 1 and does not roll over

•Holiday Pay (MPC observes 8 holidays/year)

•Bereavement Pay – 1 or 3 days depending on relation

Available after 12 months of employment:

  • Vacation time – amount determined by length of service:
    • 1 Week on January 1 following 1 full year of employment
    • 2 Weeks on January 1 following 2 full years of employment
    • 3 Weeks on January 1 following 5 full years of employment
    • 4 Weeks on January 1 following 10 full years of employment
  • Employer-paid basic term life insurance and AD&D insurance (each policy is equal to 1 your annual salary up to a maximum of $50K)
